All viewers of this site should be aware that as they are learning about us, we are learning about you. In full compliance with GDPR/CCPA.

Every page here makes one quiet request back to our own server, which records the visit: the page and the time, the IP address you arrive from, your browser and operating system, and the site that sent you. Nothing appears on the page and nothing is written to your device — no cookie, no script, no fingerprint.

We keep that record for 90 days and use it to see how the site is found and read, and to keep it secure. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to profile you. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we do not record the visit at all.

The full detail

The record holds the full request headers the server receives — accepted languages and content types, protocol version, server software, and any forwarding headers supplied by a proxy or content network — together with a 16-character hash of your IP address and browser string, so separate visits can be counted without putting an identifier on your device.

We do not collect screen size, time zone, keystrokes, mouse movement, scroll or click behaviour, and we do not attempt to identify you. You can ask us what we hold about your visit, or ask us to delete it, and we will answer within the deadline the law sets.
