Intelligence

The Intelligence practice answers the questions that sit underneath a commercial decision: who the competitors really are, what a counterparty has done before, what a market is doing outside the published summary, and what would have to be true for the plan to work.

We work from open sources, structured interviews and licensed data. Everything is corroborated where it can be, and the confidence level is stated plainly where it cannot. There is no value in a confident answer that turns out to be wrong.

Typical questions

• Market entry and expansion: demand, regulation, route to customer
• Competitor position: capability, pricing behaviour, stated and actual strategy
• Counterparty and supplier review: history, ownership, financial signals
• Scenario work: what changes the answer, and what would we watch for

Standards

Sources are recorded, assumptions are separated from findings, and each conclusion carries the reasoning that produced it. If a finding cannot be sourced, it is treated as a hypothesis and labelled as one.
