Practice area
Technology
The Technology practice is deliberately unglamorous. It looks at the systems a business already runs, decides which of them are earning their keep, and then plans the changes that can actually be delivered with the people and budget available.
We work on architecture and platform decisions, data governance, migration planning, vendor selection and delivery oversight. Where a programme has already gone wrong, we are usually brought in to establish the facts first and the options second — in that order.
Where we are useful
- Assessment: current state, dependencies, real operating cost
- Platform and data: architecture options, integration, governance and retention rules
- Delivery: plans, sequencing, supplier management and stage-gate reviews
- Recovery: independent review of stalled or over-committed programmes
Our position on measurement
We design measurement so that it answers a question someone actually asked, and we hold our own site to the same rule. This site keeps a server-side record of visits — no cookies and no scripts — and says so on every page rather than burying it. The detail, the retention period and the rights a visitor can exercise are set out in the privacy notice.
